Hi Philip! I thought about you when the events in Syria started and happy to find you here! , its a moment we all waited for , my heart goes for the syrian people... salam
Thank you for visiting and getting in touch. I tried to access your site a few times during the Egyptian uprising but it was closed to casual visitors. Anyway I hope life in Egypt is getting better or at least the country is moving in the right direction. I know how bitter you felt about the situation in recent years.
Best wishes and I'm glad I can access your blog now.
Thank you. I'm not a great drinker but I raise a glass of Sake to you. The recent events in Japan (if you are still there) must have been quite traumatic. You have to admire the Japanese for their dignity and honesty in the face of such a huge human and environmental disaster.
They say that the pen is mightier than the sword. In the case of Syria I'm not so sure anymore!
Syrian Roman Emperor
(AD 244-249)
I have been dead for a long time but my imperial spirit lives on. I want Syrians to rule the world :) But first, Syrians must learn to rule themselves!

Philip,
Dear friend, you have been missed.
